Day 4: Ocean Park

Day4: Ocean Park

We were too early by the time we reached Ocean Park. We were there about 9:30am but it only opened at 10am. But this gave us times to take some photo at the entrance and mommy bought me this ocean park's cap while waiting for the park to open. 弟弟 doesn't like cap, therefore mommy didn't buy this panda cap for him.

We saw 2 panda in there. But according to the person in charge, there are 3 panda in Ocean Park actually. One has been transferred to the other side of the park, we will able to see it later.

At the souvenir shop outside, I bought this little Panda.

弟弟 chose a lot but ended up he didn't get any because he threw away after chose.

We took the Ocean Express to go to the Summit from Ocean Park Waterfront.

There, we can see lots of sea creatures. Those creatures were group into different categories and in different aquariums. Therefore, to visit each of these aquariums, we have to walk from one to the other under the hot sun. Yes, the weather on that day is really hot. Luckily I got a cap & mommy got umbrella for 弟弟。

Ocean Theatre - Dolphin is the main character for the 3:30pm show.

After the show, we took cable car to went down to Ocean Park Waterfront.

I had a ride on the sea creatures carousel, however that was not a happy experience as I knocked my face when papa walked me to the 'dolphin'. I was crying during the ride.

However, the sad moment gone very fast as there are so many cute stuff & attraction in the park.

We saw this cute recycle bin in the park. There are some Talking Tree around the park as well. The talking tree is actually a rubbish bin, it 'requested' us to segregate the aluminium can from others rubbish.

By the time we left Ocean Park, it's about 5:30pm and this end our day 4.

We were quite tired after the whole day in the park. At night we only out for dinner nearby our hotel at Wan Chai.

Sept'10 Holiday - Day 3

Day 3 - Move to Hong Kong Island

Day 3, we moved out from Disneyland and started a new page of this trip.

We are going to explore Hong Kong Island & Peninsula.

We took the bus arranged by the airline to our hotel in HK. Therefore, we have to back to airport as the transport arrangement is from airport --> hotel.

At the airport, had some snack as it's almost noon. 舅舅bought me this 波萝包, it got 2 pieces of thick butter inside. I like butter and that's why I like the 波萝包 also. I can finish the whole bun.

The journey took about 1 hour to reach our hotel.

We stayed in Renaissance Harbour View Hotel.

After checked in, we walked around the nearby area.

Mommy told 舅舅 the Golden Bauhinia Square is just in front of our hotel.

Well, the Bauhinia Square is on the right handside of Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center (HKCEC) and our hotel is directly connected to HKCEC, we can walked through HKCEC and reach the Golden Bauhinia Square in about 5min time. However, 舅舅 brought us used the opposite way which took us a big route to reach there as we went to the left handside of HKCEC. Besides, we also walked under the sun as we were outside the building walking at the roadside.

In the afternoon, our plan was The Peak.

We didn't take the Peak Tram as it's quite long queue by the time we reached the tram station.

Therefore, we took taxi to get there.

By the time we reached there, I already fell asleep. But I woke up before sunset and managed to see the spectacular night view of Hong Kong.

Photo taken by 舅舅 using his DSLR with tripod. Yes, 舅舅 brought the whole set of photography tools to Hong Kong. That's the reason we can get those nice, clear and beautiful photos.

We didn't visit to Madame Tussauds as it's not that attractive to us.

This ended our day 3 in Hong Kong. Tomorrow we are going to Ocean Park.

Sept'10 Holiday: Day2 Disneyland

Day 2: Disneyland

We spent the whole day in Disneyland on Day2.

Today is much better as no more raining. Sunny day and it's really hot.

I still insist to wear the princess dress as I didn't meet up with any of the Princess yet.

We were actually half way queue up for the Dumbo ride. Mommy heard someone mentioned the princess is coming out. Therefore, we quit the line and go to line up for princess photography.

Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty & Belle....Finally, I met with them!

After meeting the princess & Dumbo ride, I told mommy it's hot and I changed back to my normal clothing.

After that, we continue to explore the Fantasyland & Tomorrowland.

We met Mickey & Minnie again today.

It's A Small World, this is a colorful & attractive small world.

弟弟 & I like it so much.

After Tomorrowland, it's almost time for Mickey's Waterworks Parade, 3:30pm.

Not to get wet, we stayed in Dry Zone.

After the parade, we back to hotel for a rest as we came out since early morning.

However, I didn't take my nap. I take this opportunity to go for swimming.

So, what 弟弟 done in the Disneyland?

He just had a Carousel ride with papa. Most of the time, he likes to lie on mommy's shoulder and especially when he wants to sleep.

He was very curious on the remote control car. That car made him run around with happy smiles.

We back to the park in the evening for the fireworks.

This is really a spectacular fireworks performance above the Sleeping Beauty Castle.

With the end of the fireworks, our Disneyland trip ended too.

Tomorrow, we will be moved to Hong Kong island.

Anything that we missed? Oh yes!

We didn't explore the Adventureland at all.

We didn't watch any show/performance such as Mickey's Philharmagic & The Golden Mickeys.

We not able to make it for Autopia (the electric car) due to long queue.

We also didn't visit the UFO zone in Tomorrowland.

For Tomorrowland we missed quite a lot as we only have 1 ride which is Orbitron.

I think there still a lots of activities awaiting us, but we couldn't make it this time.

Therefore, we must come back again near future :o

Sept'10 Holiday: Day 1: PG --> HK

Day 1: PG --> HK

Hong Kong Disneyland, 3 ~ 5-sept

We took the early morning flight to Hong Kong on 3-Sept.

Not a good weather as it was a raining morning.

The journey took about 4 hours.

Not too bored as I've a bag of "toy" to play with.

I got the kid's meal while 弟弟 got his baby food.

Our 1st destination is Hong Kong Disneyland and we will spent 3D2N over there.

From Hong Kong International Airport, we took MTR to Disneyland. We purposely took the Disneyland Resort Line to experience the Disneyland designed MTR.

From airport, we took Airport Express to Tsing Yi. From Tsing Yi, we changed to Tung Chung Line to get to Sunny Bay. From there, we finally changed to Disneyland Resort Line which took us to Disneyland station.

At the station, there are buses that take us to Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel.

As soon as after checked in, we headed to King Triton Room for "My Little Princess".

I'll transform into a little princess with the make up, hair-do, costume & accessories.

There are 4 princesses for us to choose. I like pink therefore I chose Sleeping Beauty.

弟弟 spent some times in the toy's room while waiting for me. He got company there.

After that, we went to Disneyland. We were actually want to have some food.

However, it's raining again. Luckily we borrowed some umbrellas from hotel and mommy did prepare some raincoat as well. It rain on and off, sometimes heavy, sometimes drizzle.

We managed to get some food at one of the restaurant - Corner Cafe at Main Street, U.S.A

This is what we planned to try - Mickey Mouse Waffles with ice cream.

Due to raining, not much activities we had for that afternoon and the park closed at 7:30pm, after the fireworks show.

However, we were lucky that Mickey & Minnie is out for photo session and the queue is not too long.

When it's heavy rain, we went into the souvenir shop. I was busy taking photo with those souvenir while mommy & Ah Mah were busy shopping around.

I met another little princess in the shop. She is 3 years old and dressed as Cinderella.

We still wait for the fireworks though it's raining. But didn't take another photo as all of us carried umbrella and no more hands for camera.

After the fireworks we back to hotel and this end our 1st day trip -- raining Disneyland.

School Holiday Sept‘10

It's Sept school break and my long awaiting holiday trip began!!

I was so excited and I've been waiting for so long for this trip.

This is our family trip together with Ah Mah & 舅舅.

This is my longest trip ever, previously most of the trip were 3D / 4D.

This time we have a 7D6N holiday.

This is 弟弟 1st oversea trip and he is 16months old.

弟弟 broke my record as my 1st oversea trip happened when I was 17months old (Singapore Trip).

The most important is the destination we were heading to is my dreamland.

Or I should said, it's most of the children's dreamland.

Where we go? It's Hong Kong Disneyland!

Our trip is Hong Kong Free & Easy.

Mommy booked the air ticket & hotel from Cathay Pacific.
