May always be a busy month for us.
Mother's Day & Ah Mah's birthday are on May.
This year, both occasion come within a week. Therefore, we combined and celebrate once only.
Mommy baked a birthday cake for Ah Mah. This is mommy first fondant birthday cake.
She tried to do a ribbon decoration but looks like the ribbons didn't turn out very nice.
Under the fondant is butter cake.

On Mother's Day, mommy baked cake again. This time she baked 2 moist chocolate cakes and decorated with fondant as well. One for Ah Mah and the other one for 奶奶.
Again, it's ribbon decoration. This round the ribbons looks good : )

We had a dinner at Khunthai restaurant at Teluk Kumbar. The main restaurant is at Sungai Dua, mainland where we did visit there before.
Luckily we went there early, still got table available although we didn't make any reservation.
