My 1st Graduation & Concert Night

Friday night was our school's 4th Annual Graduation & Concert Night 2009.

This is my first participation for the event.

The event started at 7:30pm but we have to reach there by 6pm.

This is quite rush for mommy & papa and they need to leave their office by 5pm the latest.

Prize presentation for "Model Child" & "Reading Award"

Yes, I got both. The reading award is judged from the daily reading activity on Ladybird Reading Scheme.

The last event: 大合唱

After the show...looked tired and sleepy...it's almost 11pm.

Each of the kids get a goody bag and there is a small gift inside.

I brought home 2 more trophies.

弟弟 6-month-old update

弟弟 is 6 months old and he is 7.29kg, 65.5cm length.

Mommy starts his complementary feeding.

He starts to take cereals & fruits juice (apple & carrot).

弟弟 likes to eat the cereals.

He can sit with support.

His roll-over progress, a bit improve from last month but still not able to totally lift his head up.

三菜一汤

Mommy prepared a simple dinner for us during the weekend -- 三菜一汤

1) Japanese Curry -- it's so simple as mommy just need to add meats and "cook".

2) Fried Egg -- 芙蓉蛋 but mommy's recipe only have egg + crab stick

3)Fried fish -- this is special cooked for me as I like fried fish rather than steamed fish.

4) Soup -- 六味汤

Simple right?

This is mommy's cooking, she always choose the simple dish to cook.

Children's Day

Friday was our Children's Day. No school on that day, it's a pot luck party.

School agenda as below:

All the parents are requested to let the children brought at least 1 of our favorite food to school for sharing.

I got a prize for writing competition so mommy requested papa to come to school before 10:0am as the agenda showed 10:30am is the prize presentation. However, school did a last minute changed and by the time papa reached school, the prize presentation already done.

Mommy was not able to come as she just started new job and no leave for her yet.

Mommy baked some banana cakes for me to bring on that day. She baked it on Thursday's night.

Besides cupcakes, mommy also bought me 2 packs of Mimi(my favorite) for the party.

So many mini cupcakes..................big one is for teachers.

Small one is for the kids.

There are two flavor:

White paper cup -- plain banana cake.

Black paper cup -- chocolate chips banana cake.

See, there are so many food on that day.

Enjoying the food? Not really....I didn't finish the Char Mee Hoon.

This is the trophy I got for the writing competition.

My trophy, now I got 2! The previous one is from Choir Competition.

Second Trip To Damai Laut

We had a weekend trip to Damai Laut last week and this is my second trip to Damai Laut.

The first trip was back to Oct 2007. Wow! It has been 2 years.

We were not purposely went for holiday. Our main purpose is to attend mommy friend's wedding at Ayer Tawar. Damai Laut is about 30~45mins from Ayer Tawar, therefore mommy decided to stay in Swiss Villas, Damai Laut since we are member of SGI vacation club.

We used Ipoh exit and went to Fu San for dim sum breakfast.

Fu San has moved to new location -- a new restaurant with double storey.

After breakfast, we straight away went to Ayer Tawar to attend the wedding ceremony.

We just on time when we reached the groom's house.

Having fun with Uncle Ang

Saturday was Mid Autumn festival, we celebrated with lantern and mooncakes.

Our next day breakfast -- pancake.

Uncle Ang was the chef and mommy was the helper.

This is special for newly wedded couple. We tried our best to arrange in heart shape :)

After checked out, we went to Lumut for shopping!
