Penang Hill Visit During School Holiday 2014

       This is our second trip to Penang Hill, we didn't took any photos in the first trip.This is the children        

               playground it has lot of slides,ladders and monkey bars.We are very hungry so we didn't 

                                                             spend a lot of time there.

And this is the love bridge maybe I guess......

There are lots of locks, with heart shapes and squares they write down something in it.

You can buy a lock in the end of the bridge.

Its very cold up there because of the mist.

What a beautiful view, we can't see the Penang Bridge because of the mist.

Picking Fun

Nowadays 弟弟 like to play the toy picking machine at shopping mall. It's a machine with many soft toys inside, you have to control the pick handler to the correct position and pick up the soft toy. If you success, you get the toy.

弟弟 was so happy when we pick up this moo moo, he has been failed for few times.

Our First Hiking Trip - Air Itam Dam to Qing Kuan Shi

Mommy has a group of friends that hike quite frequently. Normally we didn't follow mommy as they go for long hour hike and the trail is tough for kids.

Tis is the first time we went to hiking. The trail we choose is short and easy for kids. 

This hiking trip was during nine month of Chinese calendar where there is Nine Emperor Festival.

During this festival, people will hike to Qing Kuan Shi, a temple at Air Itam Dam there. two ways to go up the temple, one is from Air Itam Dam and the other is from Paya Terubong. 

We used the trail from dam.

Di Di requested to have some snacks just after 10mins hike. He claimed he is hungry.

Here is the sign board to show the way to Qing Kuan Shi, also known as Cheng Yee Chan.

Almost reached the temple, take a photo with papa

This is the temple we reached first. We need to go down from here in order to go to the Qing Kuan Shi.

Too bad, a big tree trunk has blocked the way down. We cannot use the stairs case, have to use the side way to go down. Quite challenging but we made it.

My First Swimming Competition

My swimming teacher - Maggie 姐姐 from AC Swimming Academy helped to register me for the ACSA Swimming Gala 2014. She registered me for 2 events which are 15m Breaststroke and 15m Freestyle.

I like the pool. My normal swimming class is using the pool at our apartment. This pool is much bigger than apartment pool. Here I also can swim together with other kids.

Before the competition starts, let's do some warm up.

After the competition, there was a short game preparing by the organizer. There were two groups of us, which are below 9years old and above 9years old. This is what we played for below 9years old group - Handball.

I won the second place for 15m Breaststroke with 33.23sec. For 15m Freestyle, I was at 5th place with 26.90sec.

Papa's Birthday

It's Papa's birthday and we have a simple  celebration at home.
Mommy and didi went to order an ice-cream cake two days ahead. Not much choice as suppose need to order at least 3-5days ahead.
We planned to give papa a surprise but didi told papa about the birthday cake on the day cake been ordered. So...no more surprise.
Papa was busy on his birthday, we were waiting for him and want to try the ice-cream cake, can't wait anymore :p

I  have swimming class on every weekend and I弟弟 normally has nothing to do while waiting for me.
Today he found something new to play around while waiting.

Cafe @ Georgetown - Kaffa

We still exploring those cafe in Georgetown, too many? We can't even visit them all.

Some was our re-visit, some was just once.

Kaffa Espresso Bar - another new cafe that mommy read from blog and bring us there during weekend.

Life is not complete without coffee - for a coffee lover like mommy

The coffee art on salted caramel latte is just nice.

Mommy ordered this, big breakfast.

Forgot the name, but I think is something like chicken nachos. 

It's yummy and if you prefer a small portion or an appetizer to share among friends, this is just nice.
