中秋节

Mid Autumn festival is round the corner. Mommy made her 2nd try of pingpi mooncake.

1st try was not very successful as the skin turn hard easily.

This round mommy made it and the skin didn't turn hard so fast.

I like lantern rather than mooncake.

I'll have 2 lanterns every year. Either 1 from mommy/Ah Mah and the other from another Ah Mah.

I had Bee & Chicken (no photo) in 2006, Ultraman (no photo) & Butterfly in 2007. This year, I have Ultraman & Mickey Mouse but both come from mommy.

Papa went to Beijing on 25-Aug, just 1 day after the closing celemony of Olympic games.

We have reminded papa to buy Olympic's mascots if he still can find them, though we already have our Fuwa collection.

Colors in English

Thung starts to learn English after she went to music school. All the while we speak Hokkien to her.
Besides, Barney VCD & the Play n Learn Laptop also help her to learn English.


Last weekend I saw her holding the windmill and try to say the color one by one.

Thung: "Purple, Pink, Green, Kam, BJ..."

Kam - Orange in Hokkien
BJ - One of the character in Barney movie, yellow in color.

I think she just try to name all the color. She doesn't know whether is Hokkien, English or just a noun that represent the color. My little girl, still lot more you need to learn. Gambatte!

北京奥运： 同一个世界，同一个梦想

Last Saturday, while we were watching Olympic, Thung suddenly said:"贝贝，晶晶。。。”
I was so surprised as I didn't know that she can recognize Olympic's mascots.

I tried to teach her the other 3 mascots which is 欢欢，迎迎 & 妮妮 by showing her Fuwa collection that I bought in China last year.

The next day, mum told me that Thung learnt about Fuwa when we had the dinner at G Cafe. Yen Yen mentioned the names of 5 Fuwa but she only able to remember 2 of them.

Time flies...last year, still 257days to go. Today, Olympic has drawn a spectacular close in Beijing.

Lobster Galore at G Cafe

Last Tuesday mommy brought us to Gurney for dinner. Yen Yen 姨姨 & Ah Mah also came along.
At first we planned to go to Chili's but we found out Tuesday is a lobster buffet in G Cafe. Without think twice, we ahead to G Cafe for our Lobster buffet!
We enjoyed 15% discount by using Citibank credit card.

Grilled Lobster, creamy Lobster with crepes & sauted Lobster with peanut sauce.




1st time try yam ice cream....Why the ice-cream taste different?

Olympic mascot, Yen Yen 姨姨 said they are "贝贝，晶晶，欢欢，迎迎，妮妮"

They all made by icing sugar, flour....etc.

New favorite character -- Barney (3)

My Barney collection has increased to 4 from the previous 2 VCD.
Mummy bought me below 2 VCDs last week:
1) Let's Go To The Zoo
2) Red, Blue and Circles Too
