Delicious Cafe @ Straits Quay

Our first visit to Delicious Cafe at Straits Quay.

This is consider as new restaurant try out for us though it has been opened for quite some times ago. 

We know about this cafe as we did go in one time and saw a lot of cakes in the fridge. 

Chocolate cake, Carrot cake,  Lemon Meringue Pie, Brownie, Tiramisu....etc

This time we were there for dinner.

While waiting for our food to be served, everybody is busy...papa was checking his phone, 弟弟was playing with fork and spoon while I was playing iPad.

Finally our food is here. We ordered a mushroom soup (with garlic bread).

It's good just like Mizi's mushroom soup : ) The taste that we preferred for mushroom soup.

Mommy had tart which looks like below picture.

Not bad, it's pumpkin tart. But it's a bit too big for mommy. She can't finish it.

Papa ordered rice like type of nasi lemak with rendang ribs, unfortunately we don't have the photo.

Desserts,  I choose Applelicious Pie with vanilla ice cream. Why? Because it comes with ice cream!

This is our first try at Delicious Cafe. We may come back again for the desserts as it serves many types of cake and we just tried 2 of them.

Writing Competition 2012

I asked mommy to fetch me to school that day as I want to show her something.

The Writing Competition result has out and guess what?

I am the Champion for English writing. 

Unbelievable, as usually teacher will circle red on my homework as I didn't write it properly.

But now, I am the champion : )

Blue Reef Fish & Chips - Farewell Party

I went to a farewell party together with mommy in Blue Reef Fish & Chips, Straits Quay. It was mommy's colleague farewell party. This is the first time I went to this restaurant.

It's dinner on Friday night. Mommy was told to come early, before 7pm as there is no reservation allow on Friday night and weekend. Therefore, we reached there aorund 6:30pm and we were the first to arrive.

The waiter that deal with mommy on the menu pre-order, number of pax....etc gave me a piece of white paper and a small box of color pencil. That's how they settle the kids, keep us busy with drawing while parents are having the meal. There is a wall that put up all the kids' drawing but we were told that the drawing only change on every Sunday.

 This is what I drew, a fishing boat. A lot of questions been asked from mommy's colleague...why the fish is flying? Is there any shark inside the sea? Can you draw a shark? ...etc...

 Mommy baked a cake for the party. So happened that mommy went to one of the cake's ingredients shop there and bought a cake decoration pen. We used that pen to sign our name on the cake as it's fondant surface.

My Teeth Development

See those permanent teeth that has been emerged so far... one of the upper central incisor almost half way come out. The lower lateral incisor also emerged at the same time, but a bit slower compare to central incisor.
This is the progress of my permanent teeth development. Actually the upper central incisor has been pulled out for quite some times ago, I think is about 6 months ago.
