Christmas Cake & Jelly

Last weekend was a cooking week.
Besides the glutinous rice ball we made for 冬至,mommy also baked a Christmas Cake and jelly as well.


Cake preparation
Ingredients (A):
5 egg yolks
67ml orange juice
40g sugar
120g flour
84ml salad oil
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp vanilla essence



Ingredients (B):
5 egg whites
77g sugar
1/2 tsp cream of tartar



Method:
Prepare a cake with above ingredients, apply a layer of chocolate on the surface, roll up the cake with the paper outside.
Apply another layer of chocolate on the outside of the rolled up cake. Use a spatula to make the
texture like a tree. Decorate as you wish.




Helping mommy....



Yeah! The Christmas Cake is done. Mommy changed the orange juice to longan juice, you see the longan fruit inside?




Jelly........the small doggie & kitty is for me.
