Christmas 2012

This year Christmas is kind of special to us due to:
This is 弟弟 first time gift exchange in school
There will be a new member joining us for the buffet dinner on Christmas Eve.
Mommy made a lots of Christmas cupcakes.

Before the Christmas, I made a card for Ah Mah and Mommy.

As most of the kindy will do, 弟弟 school also organized a gift exchange activity for the kids.

We were request to buy a RM10 gift and bring to school before Christmas Eve.

On 24th,  弟弟 brought back the gift. Besides the exchanged gift, he also got an extra gift, which we think is from teacher/school.

As usual, we will be having buffet dinner on Christmas Eve. This year we went to Golden Sand Hotel, Garden Cafe. The buffet is good as they served many variety of food, however there is no sushi corner (or we missed out :p) The fruit juice, wine and beer is free flow.
There is a Kids Corner where they served nuggets, fries, cupcakes, puff and crepe.

Ah Mah & I

The couple - ZhenYin 姐姐 is the new member, she is Ah Qiang kuku girlfriend :)

The hotel arrange crown and Santa Claus as part of the entertainment to the party. 

弟弟 asked for a puppy for the ballon and I request for an umbrella.

The umbrella is just well fit 弟弟 size

 This year mommy starts to make some cupcakes with Christmas theme.

 Mommy bought us a present and I only opened on Christmas Eve as I want to keep the surprise.

弟弟 open his present few weeks back and he has no surprise on Christmas Eve.

I am happy as mommy bought me this Angry Birds game, is Christmas Holiday version.

Post Cafe

New restaurant try out.
This Post Cafe restaurant has been establish since 2010. The restaurant is located at town area, near Komtar. Recently, the Post Cafe opened near our house area. Not sure is the new branch or relocate.

We decided to take a try on this restaurant last Saturday as our dinner.
It serves western food and beverages.
The entire restaurant renovated with Post theme. There is a post box inside the restaurant. I think that is an official post box as the restaurant offer posting service for the customers.

One weak point is about the drinks. No soft drinks and fruit juices. Only float available, soya milk, ice lemon tea, honey lemon and few others which is not kids preferred.

冬至 2012

This year 冬至 fell on 21-Dec which is also so called 'end of the world' day.
This year I helped Ah Mah to make the glutinous balls. This is also 弟弟 first time try to roll the glutinous balls.
No photo on the rolling process as by the time mommy reached home, we already completed.
弟弟 don't know how to roll a ball and he request for help. Some he dropped on the floor but he does not allow us to throw his 汤圆。
On the next day, Ah Mah cooked the glutinous balls in two flavor. One is dry with peanut and sugar. The other type is the normal syrup type.

弟弟 new school bag

弟弟 starts his school with my old school bag. That bag is too small and not able to keep many books.
Since he behave well for the past 2 weeks, mommy promised to buy him a new school bag.
At first, he insist to use the old school bag. This is 弟弟 pattern, he always do something opposite to what he said.
However, after a day, he likes his school bag and wants to carry by himself.

My Favorite Food - Hokkien Mee

This is instant post as now mommy can use handphone to update the blog.
Today we went to hawker center for dinner as I would like to have Hokkien Mee. Yes, nowadays Hokkien Mee isy favorite food. Of course, no chili, no meat, no shrimp, no egg...it's just a 'kosong' Hokkien Mee. But I like the soup very much.

弟弟 In School

It has been 2 weeks 弟弟 start his nursery. So far so good except still don't want to wear uniform to school. There was one day teacher helped him to change to uniform in school. Teacher told mommy, there was a deal behind that. Now 弟弟 like 'glue' to his class teacher, therefore his teacher told 弟弟 if he wants teacher, he has to change to uniform. That's the only day he came back home with uniform.
Now, mommy bring him to school, spend 10-15min sitting together with him at the waiting area as 弟弟 request. He only let mommy go when teacher called him to join the group for singing (class going to start as well).
Don't know how long needed to train him go inside the school without mommy, just like me last time. But at least now弟弟 goes to school without cry, this is already a good progress to him.

叔叔 BB One Year Old Birthday

End of November is 叔叔 BB's birthday. He turned one on his birthday and there will be a party for him.

So happened that we already planned our holiday on that weekend and we were not able to attend his birthday party.

Mommy baked him some cupcakes. Yes, nowadays mommy is busy in baking especially on cupcakes.

This is just an additional for his party, for sure his parents already ordered a big cake for him.

We back to 奶奶 house on Friday's night to pass the cakes and present to BB.

BB still yet to sleep and we able to play with him for a while.

弟弟 Official First Day In School

Today mark a special day on 弟弟 diary. He officially enroll to nursery for N2.
Remember he did go for few days early this year when he was in N1. Unfortunately, he doesn't want to continue and mommy stop him for a while.
Now 弟弟 is going to four years old next year. He must go to school no matter how.
Surprisingly, he is ok this time. He walked in the school without tear. He still want to attach to mommy, but after a while mommy told him to go take his school bag. He is ok to allow mommy go out from his classroom.
After that, mommy left him with teacher and only back to fetch him after school.
When he saw mommy, he got 扁嘴 and like want to cry. Buy everything is just consider as smooth for this first day.
Let's see how his performance on the second day.

BB is here again

Our cousin - 姨姨 BB is back again.
Their last visit was on May and this is their second trip back to Ah Mah house.

Now BB can walk already and 3 of us can play together at Ah Mah house. This is the most headache part for Ah Mah actually.

Though BB is 1yr+, but he won't tolerate when come to fight about toys.
弟弟 used to get most of the things that he wants or request as I will also need to give to him.
So now 弟弟 has meet a BB that won't give the toys to him so easily. This has ended up that two of them always ended up with cry when they fight for toys.

he can't see clearly...short sighted??

Year End Pot Luck 2012

It has been quite some times we didn't write our dairy here.
So, all of these posts are going to be back dated post.

It's end of school semester. As usual, nursery will organized a potluck for the kids.
This year mommy helped to make some cupcakes for me.

Fairies for the girls and vehicles for the boys

One of the 姨姨 friend also asked mommy to make cupcakes for her boy to bring to school (I believe all the nursery will have Year End Potluck). She requested to use buttercream as to her fondant is too sweet.
It's for the kids, so mommy tried to make some cute stuff. Do you know what is that mommy made?
It's rabbit! But Ah Mah said is mouse @_@
I think mommy can't find a long enough marshmallow to be the bunny's ear and the one mommy bought is actually flower shape. She should be using the round shape marshmallow to make the ear.
For the grass, the color is just very light green as mommy tried to minimize the usage of coloring. This is the good part of homemade as we can control the ingredients used.

Butter cream cupcakes

Before the potluck, it's the prize presentation day. So happen that I was not feeling well and absent from school. Teacher passed me the trophy on the next day. So this year, I got 3 trophy which are Writing Competition, Reading Awards and Academic Award. Teacher told me I am 第三名 for the Academic.
