弟弟 request for watch

Today 弟弟 request for a watch. This is because he saw me wearing my watch while we want to go shopping. Immediately he request for a watch but unfortunately he doesn't have any. 

Mommy never bought him a watch before. As he will be crying and throw tantrum if he didn't able to get, mommy asked me to give mine to him for a while.

Graduation Concert 2012

It's time for the year end concert again. This is my second kindergarten graduation concert as I attend K2 for twice. This is because mommy was planned to send me to primary school one year earlier but failed. 

This year the concert not as grand as previous year ( we can compared now since there is a benchmark)

There is no decoration on the stage. Remember previous school has some cute stuff as stage decoration, but not this. During every branches presentation, there is only a screen projected on the stage according to the presentation theme. Like the photo below, the dance is about Hawaiian dance, the slide show at the stage was showing beach and Hawaiian lady.

It's our turn to perform. We also going to dance a Hawaiian dance (quite popular, right?)
But we have different costume compared to the previous school.
I like the hair band and bracelet but teacher not going to give to us.

This is a surprise to mommy as I never told her that we dance like this :p

I have to walk to the center and let these 2 little boys carry me up high.

I was chosen to do this as I am the smallest size in the class.

As usual, after all the school done the performance. It's finale. 

And every kids were given a goodie bag before dismiss.

This end our Graduation Concert and this is also the last year of my kindy life. Next year, I am going to Standard One, more challenges awaiting...

New dessert shop in town.

We know about 许留山 during our Hong Kong trip few years ago.

It's a famous mango desserts shop that you can see it every where in Hong Kong.

And now, we have it here. There is one open in Gurney Plaza shopping mall.

Desserts that we ordered

We went there after dinner on weekdays. No long queue, we can even choose the table we like.

Desserts that we ordered was a set come with 3 different types. One is like ice-cream biscuit with mango inside, the second one also mango + tang yuen and the 3rd one is mango + coconut + ice cream.

Yes, all are mangos....as this is 许留山.

弟弟 want the mango drink but he not really like it as there are some sago inside.

Mid Autumn Festival 2012

Mid Autumn Festival, also knows as Mooncake Festival.
As usual, mommy will make some snow skin mooncake. This year she tried to bake traditional mooncake but the result turned out not that good.

See the mooncake ready to go into oven, they looks so nice. But after baked, it turned out like this.
The skin is hard, like "ang kong nga piah"...haha....mommy called it a failure.

This year mommy baked much more compared to previous year. I think she made 4 batches.

Besides those close friends that always get the mooncake, this year mommy also distributed some to 姑婆.

So sorry that we can't invite them into the house as mommy said our house is very messy. Toys every where....underneath the table, behind the cabinet as 弟弟 never keep his toys after play...and we don't have sofa in our house :p

Not only toys, recently mommy bought a lot of baking accessories and tools. The kitchen is just full with the baking stuff....cake boxes, container, fondant tools, cookies cutter, mold...ingredients such as flour, sugar, cocoa powder, eggs....as mommy always keep some as spare so that she can bake at any time she wish. So, all the things just filled up the small living room and kitchen.

There was one weekend when we went to Gurney Plaza, we saw all these lantern.
I think the event is sponsored and organized by Yeo's as all the lanterns are made by Yeo's drinks box or Aluminium can.

On the exact date of Mooncake Festival, we were having dinner with mommy's friends at Straits Quay.
After the dinner, we went for a short walk with our lantern light up.
This year I have a bunny lantern and 弟弟 has a butterfly lantern.
