Dinner at Tamarind Brasserie

We choose to have a buffet dinner as papa's birthday celebration this year.
This round we choose Tamarind Brasserie at Parkroyal Hotel.

We reached there around 6:30pm, good timing to catch the sunset view by the beach.

This is an open-air restaurant on top of wooden rack just right by the beach. You are able to enjoy the spectacular sunset view while having your dinner. It's called Uncle Zack By The Beach.

Well, we went for a buffet dinner and here is the place - Tamarind Brasserie restaurant.


Desserts always be the most attractive part for buffet. Before we start our meal, we always took a quick check on the desserts corner.

It's Saturday and it is Seafood Day. There are lobsters, prawn, crab, fish...
The waiter gave us 4 pcs of Cheese Baked Scallop and we were told that this is special from the kitchen (not from the buffet) but every table will get the same.

 I don't take lobster / prawn. But I like the fried soft shell crab & crackers (as usual, this is my favorite)
Poor 弟弟 just stopped crying after throwing tantrum for quite a while ( I think he cried for 30mins). He seems to be no appetite on all the food except the tomatoes : )


We saw some Tao Sar Piah & Coconut Cookies there, first time we see this in a buffet.


At the end, enjoyed our favorite dessert : ice-cream!!
Although 弟弟 has no appetite on most of the food, he managed to finish 2 scoops of ice-cream and told mommy: "mommy, ice cream yummy!"
