Pancake

Last Sunday was Father's Day.
We only had a very simple celebration as too many occasions since Apr.
Sorry ya, papa, Father's Day comes too late.

Mommy decided to make a cake for papa but she was kind of lazy and doesn't want to clean a lots of stuff after bake as well. So, she chose this recipe -- Pancake.
This is quite simple & easy recipe. No oven needed.

Mommy make this cake with 5 pieces of pancake, stacked them on top of each others.
Apply whipped cream on the cake, decorates with chocolate chips & fruits...finished!

Mommy done all this within 2 hours, pretty fast, right?
Mommy started when I went to my music class and when I came home, the cake ready and kept in the fridge already.

See the side wall of the cake. I think mommy still need some improvement here.
Perhaps she should go to attend some bakery class.

Sports Day 2010

Our school Sports Day fell on the 1st Saturday of school break.
Unfortunately, there was a rainy day.
The Sports Day held at Youth Park.
By the time we reached there, it was still raining. Luckily it just drizzling.

Ready for the opening dance

It's not really for sports. It just like telematch for parents and kids between branches.
Either papa or mommy have to play together with us.

Tired and hungry after playing those games.

Guess what, our school got the last place but each of us still got a medal :)

Mid Year Progress Review 2010

After the sweet time on holiday trip, now come the time for my mid year progress review on my study.

This year, I started to have examination.
We had our exam around end of May. Teacher told me is 考试, only can ask teacher for once and cannot see friend's paper.

Parents are required to go to school on last Saturday for the mid year review and teacher showed parents our exam results as well.

Here's my results:
Mommy said last year I got more stars. But overall still acceptable.
I got full marks for Science, Moral & Chinese. Malay I got 92%, Mathematic 98% and 96% for English.
Mommy & Ah Mah thought my Chinese will be the worst subject as I told mommy Chinese is very difficult and I don't like it. I'm also very lazy to write Chinese homework. Somehow, I scored 100%.

Here are some of the mistakes that I made.

And these are my art work

Each of us got 1 bear bear from teacher.

Jun Holiday - The Gardens, KL (Day2&3)

Day 2, per our plan we will go to Aquaria KLCC & train ride.
Ready to go!

To be more convenience for us, papa decided to "hang" 弟弟.
I think 弟弟 is quite enjoy with this arrangement as he can see all the view.
Of course he still prefer to walk by himself, he is just too slow and we can't wait for him.

The Aquaria

弟弟 didn't make much noise in the Aquaria and he is quite enjoy seeing those fishes.
I think he likes fish.

Next, we go for train ride. It's actually LRT.
Waiting for the train...

Not manage to take any photo inside the train as it's too crowded and we have to stand all the way.

After back to hotel around 5pm. Mommy decided to let me go for swimming since I asked for it on Day 1 after seeing people swimming from our window.
I didn't bring any swim suit as swimming is not part of our plan.
So, I got a new swim suit and new float.
My new swim suit with strawberry. Can you spot me in the pool?

The children's pool is too small, so I went to the big pool with papa.
Swimming with sunset view...nice.

After dinner, photo session.

And mommy allowed me to have 2 scoops ice-cream! Yummy!

Day 3, no activity.
Finally we walked to Mid Valley. It's just next building but we didn't go there till our last day in KL.
We have our brunch in Mid Valley and do some window shopping before going home.

Going home....our KL trip ended here, bye!

Jun Holiday - The Gardens, KL (Day1)

School holiday started early of Jun.
Since papa & mommy got a day off due to replacement of public holiday on last weekend.
We had a short trip to Kuala Lumpur. Mommy promised to bring me to aquarium, train ride and KLCC.
I do not know what is KLCC therefore mommy showed me the KLCC magnetic sticker that she bought long time ago.
I told mommy I saw this building before.

me:"mommy, I saw this on the way to Queensbay."
mommy:"where?"
me:"to queensbay, the roof is blue color one, got 2 building mah"
mommy:"oh...that's not KLCC, that is The View, a condo"

We stayed in The Gardens hotel as it's link to The Gardens Mall & Mid Valley City.
We have to find such a convenience place because we bring 弟弟 along.
This is 弟弟 first out station trip and I believe this is a challenge to mommy for bringing a 13 months old child for a trip.

We planned to depart at 6am on Saturday morning but by the time we start our journey, it's 9am already. Mommy said all because of two of us.

The Gardens Hotel & Residences.

The view from our hotel window. Our room is facing swimming pool.

Our room

Mommy just can't understand why we like to go near to the window.

After checked in the hotel, we went for lunch and shopping in The Gardens mall.
We had our lunch in Manhattan Fish Market.
We ordered a Seafood platter which is still too much for 3 of us though the menu mentioned it's for 2-3pax.

I have a soup and some of the food from seafood platter, but I couldn't finish it.

弟弟 always look for something to eat. He will make noise if there is nothing for him.
Luckily mommy prepared enough food for him as he still can't eat most of the solid adult food.

After lunch, it's our shopping time.

At night, we went to KLCC.
Papa follow the instruction from GPS which downloaded to mommy handphone.
However, I think the Papago GPS is not really good enough. It always give different way or longer route direction. Luckily we still managed to get to our destination at the end.

Due to the GPS, by the time we reached KLCC it's already 9pm.
We didn't go for shopping but only some photo shooting as papa promised we will back to KLCC on the next day for the aquarium visit and train ride. After KLCC, it ended our trip on day 1.
